Imperial Hotel Frank Lloyd Wright Suite
In 1923, Frank Lloyd Wright completed the second main building, known as the Wright Building, at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo. Although the structure has since been demolished, the hotel is honoring its 100th anniversary with the opening of the Frank Lloyd Wright Suite. Spanning 2,303 square feet, the room pays homage to the iconic architect by borrowing details from the former Wright Building. It features original carpets, furniture, and lighting based on sketches by the legendary designer. It also reproduces some of Wright's signature motifs found throughout his projects in the United States. The suite is situated on the 14th floor overlooking the Imperial Palace gardens and affords guests residential-like accommodations with a living room, dining room, and bedroom. Each stay comes with daily breakfast and a drink at the Old Imperial Bar.
