Instagram for iPad

Instagram launched on iOS in October 2010, months after the iPad launched. Yet there was no iPad-specific version for well over a decade. That changes with today's launch of Instagram for iPad. Designed for the devices' larger screens, it includes standard features like Reels, Stories, and messages, all tweaked to take advantage of the added real estate, as well as a new Following tab that lets users choose between feeds of posts and Reels from all accounts they follow, only accounts that follow them back, and a chronological Latest view. Instagram for iPad is available now as a free download for devices running iPadOS 15.1 and later.
