iRobot Terra Robot Mower
Building on the company's best-in-class mapping technology, the iRobot Terra plans to do the same thing for your lawn that the Roomba did for your floors. To install it, you simply place wireless beacons around your yard and drive it around the perimeter. Imprint Smart Mapping technology takes over from there, mowing only where it should, in human-like, back-and-forth lines, automatically charging when needed before resuming cutting where it left off. A companion app can be used to adjust the cutting height and control when it cuts. It goes on sale in Germany this year, with a beta program for the United States.
