James Bond on the Silver Screen Collection
It's not the rarest grouping of 007 memorabilia we've seen, but at 119 items, this James Bond on the Silver Screen Collection is the largest to ever hit the market. Offered by London-based rare book purveyors Peter Harrington, it includes several highly-desirable pieces. Included among them are a first draft of the script for Dr. No, storyboard sheets relating to the pivotal car chase in Casino Royale, materials for the unrealized film Warhead, including a framed color set design that would have taken place underneath the Statue of Liberty, and a huge amount of documentation relating to Thunderball. While the collection is currently listed on the store's website, it is expected to be offered during a live sale during the California International Antiquarian Book Fair in Pasadena, which begins on February 10th.
