Juiced Bikes Scorpion E-Bike
Motorcycles, mopeds, and bicycles — with the explosion of electric powertrains, the lines defining two-wheeled transportation have gotten blurry. Juiced Bikes jumps right into that fuzzy, undefined area with the Scorpion, a step-through e-bike that looks more like an ICE-powered moped than pedal-assisted electric. A 750-watt hub motor and 52-volt battery give the Scorpion a top speed of 28 MPH and a range of 45 miles. Front forks and dual rear shocks smooth out the terrain, and a front hydraulic disc brake provide the stopping power. The electric motor is controlled by a cadence-type pedal-assist or a twist throttle linked to a Shimano seven-speed freewheel gear setup. The Scorpion's fat tires and thick skateboard seat give it a retro style, while the LCD dash display and front and rear LED lighting make sure you're visible. The Scorpion is available for order now, with deliveries starting in April 2020.
