Just Type Playing Cards
Pentagram is one of the most notable design studios in the world, with a portfolio that spans decades and includes a huge range of clients. One of their designers, the great Paula Scher, teamed with fellow Pentagrammers Jeff Close and Kristin Huber to create Just Type Playing Cards. Distilling traditional card design to its essence, the cards use only two colors and come in two editions. Edition 1 features oversized numbers constructed of simple shapes that fill the entire card, while Edition 2's cards feature amalgamations of suit and value that express their identity with single figures, incorporating the pip into the letter or number itself. Available individually or together in a two-deck set.
