Kawasaki CORLEO Robotic Mobility Concept
Originally debuted last April, Kawasaki has announced plans to make its CORLEO four-legged robotic mobility concept a reality. As part of that effort, a simulation rig should be complete by 2027, while prototypes are expected to be ready for use as an on-site mobility solution at the World Expo 2030 in Saudi Arabia. Assuming all goes well there, it should go into commercial production by 2035. As for specs, they don't appear to have changed in the last few months, still including weight-shift control via the steps and handlebars, four rubber hooves, a 150cc hydrogen fuel cell powerplant, and a digital instrument panel displaying wayfinding information, hydrogen level, and projecting markers on the path ahead at night.
