German manufacturer KLAFS has built luxury wellness spaces since 1928 and is bringing the world's first retractable sauna to the US. Collapsed, it sits flush to the wall at just 24 inches deep, indistinguishable from a built-in cabinet. Hold the button for 45 seconds, and it telescopes outward to a full 63 inches, with room for two to three people, depending on which of the three sizes you choose. The insulated walls, hand-selected walnut interior, and 8mm glass panels make it feel less like a wellness appliance and more like a room addition. KLAFS' proprietary SANARIUM control system offers five distinct heat and humidity combinations, from a traditional dry sauna up to 210°F to tropical steam, all adjustable via touchscreen or the WiFi-enabled app. Dimmable SUNSET backrest lighting, integrated speakers, and a magnetic door latch round out the details.
