Klipsch x Ojas KO-R1 Speaker
Ojas, AKA Devon Turnbull, studied audio engineering before co-founding the clothing brand Nom de Guerre. While working mostly in fashion, Turnbull kept the name alive building high-efficiency speakers and low-powered tube amps. That expertise has translated into a partnership with Klipsch on the new KO-R1 speaker. The unique design houses a 12-inch K-28-E woofer in a front-ported Baltic birch plywood cabinet with a sandcast resin K-706 high-frequency horn driver mounted on top. The high-frequency driver features an adjustable mount and five-step gain control, with a total system frequency response of 40Hz-21kHz and power handling of 200 watts. The KO-R1 is limited to 100 total units worldwide.
