Kobe Bryant 2007-2008 Game-Worn Jersey
On April 23, 2008, in Game 2 of the Western Conference First Round, Kobe Bryant drained a three-pointer to put the Lakers up by 14 over the Nuggets. The images captured after the shot have become one of the most iconic moments in sports history and have also been recreated as murals from the US and Canada to Italy and the UAE. The same gold jersey worn during that game was also donned in five pre-season games, 14 regular season games, and six playoff games, as well as in Bryant's official portrait with his MVP award. During the eight-month stretch, it scored 645 points and featured the NBA legend's signature on the back. Now, 14 years later, the rare piece of memorabilia is going up for auction. It is currently on display at Sotheby's New York, with bidding to begin on February 2.
