Kobe Bryant's Staples Center Locker

Of all the memorabilia to emerge from Kobe Bryant's legendary career, few, if any, saw more action than his Staples Center Locker. It was the Black Mamba's home at home from at least 2004 through the end of his playing days in 2016, the place where he celebrated the Lakers' Game 7 victory in the 2010 NBA Finals, and the spot where he sat and reflected, a bottle of Dom Perignon in hand, following his 60-point swan song. The locker itself is mostly wood, with some metal and plastic components, and was rescued during a 2018 renovation of the Staples Center. It's been photo-matched by MeiGray from the 2003-2004 NBA season to the 2015-2016 NBA season and arrives with a scrapbook of photos from the consigner, as well as a black and white poster of Kobe following the final game of his career. A portion of the proceeds from its sale will go to benefit the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation.
