KOKORO Spirits

Centered around the Japanese expression that embodies heart, mind, and spirit, KOKORO Spirits is a celebration of the regions and people that create their premium spirits. Their Tequila Plata is crafted using time-honored and traditional techniques. It's a tahona crushed tequila, offering an aroma of cooked agave, green apple, and dusted pineapple with a balance of citrus, anise, mint, and white pepper flavors. The Tequila Limitada takes the process one step further by resting the Plata with cooked Tequilana Weber Agave Azul for 10 days, adding flavors of burnt caramel with notes of sweet agave, honey, and peach. For the brand's first whiskey, they traveled to Louisville, KY, to bottle a Four-Grain Blended American Whisk(e)y. This barrel-strength whiskey, made from 4 separate mash bills, starts with a nose of spiced orange creamsicle, followed by apricot jam spread over warm cinnamon toast. It finishes with notes of brown butter, root beer, toasted marshmallow, and challah toast. Limited quantities available.
