Minnesota-based Lectric's expansive line of e-bikes has something for everyone — whether it's urban commuting or simply for fun. Lectric's best-selling XP 3.0 is a foldable fat-tire e-bike available in either step-through or standard frames. A 500-watt hub motor delivers 40 lb-ft of torque via five levels of pedal assist with a half-twist throttle control. The XP 3.0 travels up to 45 miles with the Standard battery, and an optional Long-Range unit increases that to 65 miles. Shifting is handled by a Shimano derailleur and handlebar thumbshifter, with hydraulic disc brakes front and rear bringing everything to a halt. The telescoping front fork soaks up bumps, and can be combined with the Comfort Package that adds the Giant Seat and Suspension Seat Post. From now through Labor Day, the Comfort Package and bike lock upgrades are free — bringing one of the best e-bike on the market fully assembled to your door for under $1,000.
