LEGO Batman Batcave Shadow Box
While it received mixed responses when it was released in 1992, Tim Burton's Batman Returns is now widely considered one of the better Caped Crusader films and serves as the basis for this LEGO Batman Batcave Shadow Box building set. Comprised of nearly 4,000 pieces, it's highly detailed, including multiple interactive elements. Among them are an opening tool store, an illuminated Batsuit vault, a changing computer screen, and a moving chair. At its heart is a mini figure-sized Batmobile, with an opening roof, hidden shooters, and a removable flame element for the exhaust. When closed, the interior of the cave is visible through a Batman emblem-shaped cutout in the front. The completed set measures nearly a foot high and over 20" wide, and includes minifigures of Alfred, Catwoman, Max Shreck, The Penguin, 2 versions of Batman, and Bruce Wayne.
