Leica Leitz Wetzlar M10 Monochrom Camera
The original Wetzlar edition Typ 246 Monochrom was enormously popular — so much so that Leica decided a sequel was in order. The Leitz Wetzlar M10 Monochrom is the same, from a technical standpoint, as the standard M10 version, with a 40-megapixel black and white sensor, nearly inaudible shutter, and logo-free body. Where it differs is in the throwback Leitz Wetzlar engraving on the top plate and the front retaining ring of the matching Summilux-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH lens. Both are indications of the items' limited worldwide runs of 650 and 500 examples, respectively, making them rarities among the already exclusive pantheon of Leica cameras.
