Life Hotel
Housed in an 1890's NoMad building that formerly served as the offices of Life magazine, the aptly named Life Hotel pays heritage to its past while offering modern conveniences. Its 98 rooms range from single queens to multi-room suites, nearly all with wrought iron bed frames, 60-inch TVs, Carrera marble countertops, rainfall showerheads, and unique artwork. Just steps from the Empire State building, the hotel opens this Spring, and will also house a full-service restaurant, as well as an intimate basement bar in the same place the staff used as a speakeasy.
