Most smartphones embrace the former in striking a balance between connectivity and solitude, while some go too far in the opposite direction. The Light Phone III aims to split the difference on its third generation. It has a matte OLED display with a black and white interface and basic functionality, including Alarm, Calendar, Directions, Music, Podcast, and Timer apps. Two cameras — a 50MP round back and an 8MP up front — provide fixed focal length and center-focus photography. Built for sustainability and repairability, the phone still offers USB-C charging, fingerprint security, 5G, and a clickable interface wheel.
