Lightship AE.1 Panos Camper
Lightship's AE.1 Cosmos camper was a breakthrough. It was also limited to just 50 examples and is now sold out. The AE.1 Panos is the follow-up. Like its predecessor, it has an aerodynamic design that lowers when on the road to reduce drag, paired with a TrekDrive system that provides additional power when driving uphill or accelerating, boosting EV range or ICE vehicle mpg. A 44kWh battery powers both the TrekDrive and the operations of the camper once parked and can be charged with the 840W solar roof or via a standard NACS port. Inside, there's a queen bed, a kitchen with a dual-burner induction cooktop, microwave convection oven, and a fridge/freezer combo, A/C and heat, and a separate bathroom with dedicated shower space. A lounge and dinette convert into the main sleeping space for up to four, while options include a drop-down twin bed, motorized awning, an integrated auto leveling & stabilizing system, a Lookout Camera System, and a weight distribution hitch. For those looking to stay out weeks instead of days, the AE.1 Atmos is built on the same platform but offers a 77kWh battery and includes several options as standard.
