Lincoln Assassination Ford's Theatre Front-Row Tickets
The April 14, 1865, showing of Our American Cousin proved to be a pivotal point in American history when President Abraham Lincoln was shot in the balcony of the Ford Theater. The play was popular and played to a packed house that night, with maybe the best seats in the house being in the front row — exactly where Section D, Seats 41 and 42 were located. These two front-row ticket stubs from that fateful night are currently up for auction, an exceedingly rare piece of American history.
