Lokal Hotel
Skipping the front desk at check-in used to be a VIP-level perk. At Philly's Lokal Hotel, it's the norm. Promising "invisible service" for all who stay in its six apartment-style suites, it uses automated codes instead of a traditional front desk, and in-room iPads to access amenities like food and grocery delivery. The rooms themselves have full kitchens, clawfoot tubs, and mid-century furnishings, which match well with the building's raw, industrial feel and the curated books and artwork.
