Long Wharf Supply Co. SeaThread Sweater
It's estimated that 8 million metric tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year. In an effort to clean up our waterways and promote the use of repurposed materials, Long Wharf Supply Co. is turning that waste into wool. Their SeaThread Collection is made from an incredibly soft, sustainable fabric that combines natural lambswool with recycled oyster shells and water bottles. From the material, the company is creating a line of classic straight fit pullovers inspired by the vintage fisherman's sweaters worn throughout the east coast.
