M.A.D. 2 Watch
M.A.D.Editions was born from frustration over the friends and family of MB&F being unable to afford their watches. The M.A.D. 1 followed, seeing several raffle-only releases that offered winners the chance to purchase a quality timepiece for a shockingly reasonable price. The M.A.D. 2 will follow the same formula. Penned by longtime MB&F designer Eric Giroud, it's inspired by the DJ-fueled dance clubs of the '90s, with two raised central subdials that show the jumping hours and trailing minutes and resemble a mixing console. The dial below is grooved like a record, while the outer platter is inspired by the stroboscopic band of Technics SL-1200 Mark 2 turntable and doubles as the automatic winding rotor. It's powered by a Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G101 calibre movement housed in a 42mm stainless steel and sapphire crystal case, and will be available in green for the general public, with an orange version reserved for MB&F's clients and friends.
