M.A.D.1 Red Watch
Known for his fantastical horological creations, MB&F founder Maximilian Büsser last year unveiled a more affordable timepiece under the M.A.D.Editions label that was available only to suppliers and owners of MB&F machines. The response was such that the decision to make another publicly-available version was made. The M.A.D.1 Red is the result. Like the original M.A.D.1, it has a 42mm stainless steel case, a triple-blade, titanium/tungsten spinning rotor, and a unidirectional-winding Miyota 821A automatic movement, that's been flipped upside down. The time is displayed on the sides of the watching using revolving Super-LumiNova-coated hour and minute cylinders. The M.A.D.1 Red will be available via a lottery, with free tickets available March 22nd to April 5th; shipments are planned for later this year.
