Marantz Horizon & Grand Horizon Speakers
For the first time in its 70-year history, Marantz is introducing a line of speakers. The wireless Horizon and Grand Horizon feature drivers arrayed around a central subwoofer in a sculptural spherical enclosure with an optional tripod base made from American walnut. On the front is a ring of 100 LEDs that illuminate when approached and act as a volume control when touched. The smaller Horizon features six drivers, including a 6.5-inch sub and two one-inch silk-dome tweeters powered by a 310-watt amplifier. The larger Grand Horizon has eight drivers, with an eight-inch sub, three one-inch tweeters, and four three-inch midrange drivers, all powered by a 370-watt amp. Wireless connectivity comes via Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, and support for AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect. Denon's Heos platform supports streaming services like Tidal, Spotify, Pandora, Deezer, Amazon Music, and hi-rez audio formats. Wired options include RCA, TOSLINK, HDMI eARC, and a USB-C port. The Horizon and Grand Horizon will be available in January 2025.
