Marlon Brando's Rolex Datejust Watch
Given to Marlon Brando following his 1973 Best Actor Oscar win for his portrayal of Vito Corleone in The Godfather, this Rolex Datejust watch is a wearable piece of Hollywood history. The watch's caseback is engraved with "Vito's" and the actor's initials and is otherwise a well-preserved 31mm model with a steel case and black leather strap. Brando gifted the watch to Academy Award-nominated designer Patricia Norris in 1976, as he thought it would fit her well, and it arrives with a handwritten letter of provenance from the previous owner, who purchased it following Norris' death.
