Martín Pescador Patagonia Lodge
Getting to Martín Pescador Lodge requires a commercial flight to Santiago, a connection to Puerto Montt, a 35-minute puddle jumper to Chaitén, and an hour on a dirt road through Patagonia. By then, you're somewhere that doesn't show up on most maps. The experience is curated by luxury adventure outfitter Eleven and split between two riverfront lodges. Rio Yelcho Lodge is a cluster of casitas tucked into Valdivian rainforest with glacier views and a sauna, while Rio Rosselot Lodge further south offers a spacious home base with wraparound decks and its own boat dock. Both lodges access an expansive network of rivers and lakes including Rio Yelcho, Rio Futaleufú, Rio Rosselot, and Rio Figueroa, reached by jet boats, catarafts, and whitewater rafts. Gear is fully provided, including Thomas & Thomas fly rods, Abel reels, and Simms waders. Chef-prepared meals pair traditional asado BBQ with Chilean wine and pisco sours. Come back each evening to soak in the hot tub, eat, and forget the rest of the world exists.
