Matte Works Solution-01 Solar Powered Watch
Field watches are designed for utility, yet both manually-wound and automatic versions require consistent maintenance to keep their movements running. With Matte Works' Solution-01, all that's required is a light source. Its translucent dial — patterned after solar power plants — allows light to hit the panel under the dial, keeping the internal battery charged up, with six months of runtime available on a single charge. The black version features Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock while the white model features slim indices all the way around; both have a date window at 3 o'clock. Both dial versions feature brushed stainless steel cases that are water-resistant to 50 meters. The Solution-01 arrives with both a black and an olive nylon "active" strap so you can change out the look with ease.
