Mayla GT Carbon Fiber Superboat
Yacht firm Mayla unveiled its GT carbon fiber-hulled superboat at the Dusseldorf Boat Show in Germany. Designed with a nod towards the speed boats of the '70s and '80s, the GT features a deep-v monohull with twin transversal steps and Mayla's patented Petestep deflectors that help maximize hydrodynamic efficiency. Six propulsion options are available, including dual 3,100 horsepower engines with a top speed of 100+ knots and a diesel-electric hybrid model with 2,200 horsepower. The GT doesn't stop at performance, however. Mayla brings its luxury yacht know-how to the GT with a wet bar-equipped cockpit and a cabin sporting a queen-size bed, Alcantara seating, and optional appliances with accommodations for up to eight people. At the aft is an electric transom door that can keep a jet ski or be converted to a beach club platform. Interested buyers can contact Mayla for more information now.
