MB&F HM4 Kittyhawk Watch
MB&F is celebrating their 10th birthday with another special release. And just like the first 10-piece edition of the HM3 Frog, this unique watch is a nod to their beginnings. The HM4 Kittyhawk — named for the famous P-40 Kittyhawk fighter plane that first flew in 1938 — builds on the foundation laid by the design award-winning HM4 Thunderbolt from 2010. Just like its predecessor, the Kittyhawk is built around twin torpedo-shaped pods that display hours and minutes and the power reserve. The titanium case measures 52mm by 54mm with a throwback shark mouth motif on the sides hand-painted by miniature painter Isabelle Villa. The Kittyhawk is powered by MB&F HM4 hand-wound movement, which due to the unique case shape requires a set of 311 components and 50 jewels. The "price by request" timepiece is finished with a layer of clear varnish for protection and a vintage leather strap.
