McIntosh MC901 Dual Mono Amplifier
Leave it to McIntosh to once again create a piece of audio tech that is unlike anything out there. Their MC901 does just that, creating a bi-amping speaker that previously required two separate amps. It's a monoblock amplifier that drives a single speaker and consists of a 300 Watt vacuum tube amplifier attached to a 600 Watt solid-state amplifier on one unified chassis. The 300 Watt amp uses the same tech McIntosh was founded on in 1949, and along with the 600 Watt both deliver full wattage into 2, 4 or 8 Ohm impedance. The game-changing amp also bears the familiar blue watt meter McIntosh fans have come to expect and is finished with a new DualView Power Output Meter.
