McIntosh MHA200 Headphone Amplifier
Sized to fit on a side table yet plenty powerful, McIntosh's MHA200 is built for audiophiles who take their headphone listening seriously. It's powered by a pair of 12AT7 vacuum tubes that amplify the incoming signal and a pair of 12BH7A tubes to drive the cans. They're paired with Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers for clean output, whether using the 3-pin balanced XLR connectors, 4-pin balanced stereo XLR output, or the 1/4" stereo headphone jack. Around the back are a set of both balanced and unbalanced inputs, while the front offers the aforementioned outputs plus a dial to select the headphone's impedance range and a volume knob. A display-worthy stainless steel chassis with a polished mirror finish completes the substantial look.
