Mercedes-AMG EQE Electric Sedan
The Mercedes EQE EV is getting a high-performance model with the upcoming Mercedes-AMG EQE. While the soundtrack of a twin-turbocharged V8 might be missing, the numbers are not: The top-level AMG Dynamic Plus Package makes 677 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, enough to push the amorphous blob-shaped sedan from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. Top speed is limited to 137 MPH in the base AMG, and 149 in the AMG Dynamic Plus, with range estimated to be between 275 and 321 miles. While the exterior isn't exciting, the interior is more interesting. The optional MBUX Hyperscreen flat-panel display spans the width of the interior, with a well-integrated touchscreen that doesn't look completely detached from the rest of the interior. Active suspension, rear-wheel steering, and AMG high-performance brakes are standard. The Mercedes-AMG EQE arrives in early 2023.
