Mercedes-Benz C-Class All-Terrain Wagon
Following up the E-Class All-Terrain wagon, Mercedes is giving the C-Class more off-road capability with a new All-Terrain model. Based on the C-CLass Estate wagon, the All-Terrain adds 1.6-inches of suspension lift and Mercedes' 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. Visually, the All-Terrain is separated from its stablemates with a new grille design and black cladding around the wheel arches for a more rugged look. The All-Terrain uses larger steering knuckles and adaptive dampers tuned for a more forgiving ride over rough surfaces and has two driving modes to make the most of the new features. A gasoline or diesel engine is offered, mated to Mercedes' 48-volt hybrid system. The C-Class All-Terrain will be available only in the European market.
