Mercedes-Benz Citan Micro Camper
To celebrate the launch of its new Citan van, Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with VanEssa mobilcamping to turn one into a camper. This prototype vehicle is outfitted with kitchenette and sleeping modules that allow it to quickly change roles. The kitchen has a gas cooker, a sink system with a water tank, a fridge, and enough space for pots, pans, and supplies, while the sleeping system accommodates two people and sits above the kitchen when on the move, allowing for full use of the rear seats. No word yet on an official launch for either module or for any plans of a stateside release.
