Microsoft Windows 11
It's been six years since Windows saw a major update. By this holiday, that will have changed. Windows 11 brings with it a host of improvements over its aging predecessor. Gone are the Live Tiles that have their roots in Windows Mobile; in their place is a redesigned Start menu, centered on the taskbar, with an Android-style launcher. That's fitting, as Microsoft worked with Amazon and Intel to let Android apps run alongside Windows apps in the new OS. Microsoft Teams integration, greater Xbox integration, and an improved touchscreen experience are also in the cards for the OS, which is expected to launch later this year.
