Minidiscs [Hacked] by Radiohead
Sometime last week, someone stole Thom Yorke's minidisc archive from around the time of Radiohead's seminal OK Computer. Instead of paying up the $150,000 ransom to block its publication, the band decided to release the material instead. Given the obvious title of Minidiscs [Hacked], this 18-hour treasure trove includes snippets of ideas, early versions of songs that were reworked for the album, and generally provides a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creation of an all-time classic. All proceeds go to support Extinction Rebellion, which is an "international movement that uses non-violent civil disobedience to achieve radical change in order to minimize the risk of human extinction and ecological collapse."
