Miniot Black Wheel Turntable
The phonograph was invented in 1877, and the basic design hasn't changed much in nearly 100 years. Miniot's Black Wheel turntable literally reverses the standard record player with its top-loading design. Load the record from the front, and the Black Wheel uses a digitally-controlled linear tonearm with Audio Technica Nude Shibata cartridge to begin playback. The system automatically detects the record size and selects the proper speed, with an audiophile-grade phono preamp accurately reproducing the sound. Each Black Wheel turntable is hand-made in Holland, with around five units produced per month.
