Mirador House
Designed using basic geometric shapes, the Mirador House by Gubbins Arquitectos strikes a powerful juxtaposition with the rocky cliffs on which it sits. Elevated for a view of both the land and sea, the home sits on the southern coastline of Chile's fifth region, and consists of a main floor supported by a smaller base, with cantilevered areas on either side, a spiral staircase to connect them, and a lengthy access ramp that only serves to accentuate the views.
