Moltbot

Among the many issues people have with the rise of AI chatbots is the fact that they run on remote servers, thus potentially exposing data to the ether. Moltbot runs on the user's local server, keeping all data in-house while still leveraging existing LLM models to get things done. Users interact with the bot's agent via a messaging app, whether it be Telegram, Slack, Messages, or other options, and it has integration to take action across Spotify, Gmail, Twitter, web browsers, and local files — in fact, all daily interactions are stored locally in Markdown-formatted text files. It can also learn and write new shortcuts and integrations on its own, and while it can be installed on production machines, many users are installing it on Mac mini servers, which are conveniently on sale right now for $500.
