MSCHF Smells Like WD-40 Cologne
In 1953, the Rocket Chemical Company came up with a chemical formulation on the 40th try that was later used by Convair to keep the exterior of the Atlas rocket corrosion-free. Rocket Chemical called it Water Dispersant-40th Formulation, or WD-40. The rest, as they say, is history, with the product becoming a generic term for penetrating oil. Another famous aspect of WD-40 is its scent — recreated by MSCHF in a new cologne, complete with the famous red/blue/yellow packaging. While it's highly unlikely you work on your own car, now you can smell like it — although whether that's a good thing or not is highly subjective.
