Nakashima Conoid Dining Table
Architect and designer Mira Nakashima learned the art of furniture making from her father, master woodworker George Nakashima. After his death, she continues his legacy by running Nakashima Studio in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and producing his classic furniture designs, including this Conoid Dining Table. Made in 2003, the table is crafted from solid pieces of walnut held together by the brand's signature butterfly joints in rosewood. It measures 29 by 78 by 40 inches and shows minimal scratches and wear from light use. Sold with its original receipt, the underneath of the table includes the inscription "Mira Nakashima 12-7-00" and is available for auction until July 15.
