Nike Air Jordan 9 Barons Golf Shoes
Following his first three-peat with the Bulls and the murder of his father, Michael Jordan retired from basketball to play baseball. He signed with the Chicago White Sox — conveniently owned by Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf — and played for their Double-A minor league affiliate, the Birmingham Barons. During this period he wore special baseball-adapted versions of the Air Jordan 9, which are honored with this Golf edition. The upper and mudguards are black, contrasting with the white lining, laces, and outsole. Jordan's baseball number, 45, appears on the heel and insole, while black golf-specific Softspikes provide on-course traction. They're expected to drop on Nike.com on May 17th.
