Nike Vaporfly 3 Running Shoes

Long-distance runners have different needs than people pounding away the laps at a local track or on the treadmill. Nike's Vaporfly 3 was built with the former group in mind. Designed to handle everything from 5Ks to marathons, it employs a combo of full-length carbon fiber fly plate and ZoomX foam to provide a stiff feel that nevertheless offers plenty of bounce and energy return. The shoe bulges out by the heel, increasing stability, while Flyknit yarns in the upper are used differently depending on the zone for maximum breathability with a supporting feel. Light padding on the tongue, a wide toe area, and an internal foam heel pod further maximize comfort, while the thin Waffle rubber outsole minimizes weight and material, allowing for even more midsole cushioning.
