Nintendo Switch 2
We've known for a while that the successor to Nintendo's Switch hybrid console was coming. Nintendo has made it official with a first look at the Switch 2. While details are few, the console has a larger screen and Joy-Con controllers, which seem to snap on magnetically. A USB-C port on the top allows it to charge while using the redesigned kickstand. Also on top is a cartridge slot — the Switch 2 will be backwards compatible with both physical and digital Switch games. Further details will be announced on April 2nd, with a series of hands-on events happening afterward in cities worldwide ahead of its launch later in 2025.
