Nomentana Residence
Bordering White Mountain National Forest, the Nomentana Residence sits like a modern concrete fortress on the waterfront of Horseshoe Pond. The structure is made up of a series of stacked rectangular volumes cantilevered over its hillside plot. A master, guest suite, living room, kitchen, library, and drawing studio make up the 3,000-square-foot residence where a palette of steel and cement runs throughout. Generous amounts of glazing contrast the contemporary design by framing in views of the rugged landscape, while multiple stone terraces and a sleeping porch completely immerse occupants in the forest setting.
