North Focals Augmented Reality Eyeglasses
If smart eyewear can achieve mainstream success, it might be through this new release from North. Focals are their augmented reality eyewear without a screen and instead rely on light that filters through a holographic lens with a display that appears at arm's length. Focals come with a paired ring you wear on your index finger called the Loop that has a tiny joystick that allows you to click through texts, Slack messages, or turn-by-turn navigation. A custom version of Amazon's Alexa is also included, waking when you give it a voice command. Each pair is custom-built for a perfect fit and available in tortoise-shell, grey, or black in classic or round styles.
