Oakley WTR Icon Surf Helmet
Every surfer wipes out. When it happens in sandy shallows, it's no big deal — but should it result in a head banging off a rock, it can have life-altering, or even deadly, consequences. That's why Oakley worked with pro surfers to create the WTR Icon. Weighing under 365 grams with open ventilation to keep athletes oriented above and below the surf, it addresses concerns that keep many from donning a helmet in the first place. Its ABS shell is designed to absorb impact, disperse energy, and lessen blunt force trauma, and drains immediately once out of the water. The WTR Icon will be available in limited quantities on Oakley's website in November, with wider availability planned for early 2025.
