Oakley x Meguru Yamaguchi Kokoro Sunglasses
Brooklyn-based, Tokyo-born artist Meguru Yamaguchi is known for his "sculptural paintings" that defy the conventions of form. Now he's teamed with Oakley on a collection of sunglasses. Dubbed "Kokoro" after a Japanese word meaning "heart, mind, spirit," the collection encompasses 11 styles. Each piece in the collection is completely unique, having gone through a custom-made machine designed by Oakley engineers to replicate Yamaguchi's brushstrokes. As part of the launch, Oakley is donating $200,000 to support the WHO's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
