Omega Seamaster Ploprof Chronometer Watch
2023 marks the 75th anniversary of the Seamaster. To celebrate, Omega's new collection uses a Summer Blue hue across the line, with the shade darkening depending on the watch's water resistance. On the light end is the Aqua Terra, and near the bottom, a new Ploprof Chronometer based on the 1970s original. Its chunky 55 x 45 mm mono-bloc O-Megasteel case gives a hint of its impressive 1200-meter water resistance, as does the screw-in crown and security pusher at 2 o'clock. As expected, its dial is a dark shade of blue, with light blue Super-LumiNova hands and indexes and a transparent sapphire crystal bezel ring that's varnished blue on the back to show the light blue diving scale. Powered by a Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8912 movement, it sits on a '70s-style perforated blue rubber strap.
