OMEGA Speedmaster Pilot Watch
The OMEGA Speedmaster is best known for its adventures on the Moon. Now it's been repurposed for those who take to the air, but without the aim of leaving the atmosphere. The Speedmaster Pilot is designed to help keep flights on time and track with thoughtful complications. The symmetrical 40.85 stainless steel case draws from the 1957 original, with a matte finish to avoid distracting reflections. The bezel ring is similarly matte, with Dot Over Ninety and Diagonal to Seventy marks to call out the model's heritage. A grained matte black dial features below, with Super-LumiNova hands and hour markers, a date window at 6 o'clock, and a varnished orange airplane at the tip of the central chrono hand. The two subdials are similarly interesting, with a two-hand 60-minute and 12-hour recorder at 3 o'clock and a small seconds at 9 o'clock themed after an artificial horizon gauge. Powered by a Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900 automatic movement, it sits on a matte-finished steel link bracelet and ships with a secondary NATO-style Kevlar strap.
